So far so good. The unit seems to cool pretty well. The wifi app only manages to connect to the cloud about half the time. This is over a 2 week period. That would seem to be my only issue so far. The quality of the unit seems to be there. I purchased this unit because the reviews were so good on average and so far it has not disappointed.

A/C works well, just a little fan noise at low speed at night. Love the WiFi connection and options from anywhere, plus a remote control. Wish it didn't have a styrofoam liner, not easy to keep clean and lets in a lot of light. Unit is fairly light and compact, easy to handle, a nice looking unit. So far it's doing the job !

Does Its Job with No Fuss

This little unit does it's job as you would expect. Sometimes, that's all your asking for. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because of there are a few minor things they could improve if you want a perfect product rating. The stick on foam for the top that the window butts against is a pretty inconsistent design. I hate leaving something up to the user when it's always going to be needed and it could be a better fitting piece added at the factory. Since it's going on across a recessed, almost U shaped piece, you'll never get it perfect. The accordion sides could use an enhancement, especially as there is a minimum width if you choose to use them and no option in-between not using using them and that minimum width. They'll always stick out at least an inch and half. What happens if your gap is just 1 inch. You'll have to come up with your own creative solution. Outside of those few things, the fan blows hard on high and blows cool. I always hesitate to talk about how well one of these works in a certain room because all rooms are different. The room I have it in is pretty open and large, but this is near my desk where I work and it does it's job to keep me cool on a hot summer day. I also appreciate the fact that it has a remote, but also is Bluetooth and controlled through the Frigidaire app. I found both to work equally well. Note, the 'screen' on the unit shuts off after it's been on for a while and the unit keeps running. I actually like that and I am sure someone using it while sleeping would like that - no bright lights glaring at you. Again, I mentioned some criticisms, but those were minimal and garnered an overall 4/5 still because the unit has been great. If I could go 4.5/5 I would. I was fortunate in that I didn't need the side accordions because this thing fit like a glove in my small vertical opening window. I would recommend it.

Amazing AC that cools room quickly but a bit loud

This AC cools the room quickly regardless of being on ECO or Cool mode. I haven't used the fan mode as it only has a standard level. The ECO & Cool modes have 4 levels (auto, low, med, high) with a temperature option. The AC is a bit loud regardless of the mode that you use; the ECO low mode seems to be the one that makes the less noise but the AC rattles when on this setting.

This replaces another Frigidaire that died after only 2 years. We popped for the. Luetooth features and connected that with Alexa. This proves very helpful in the middle of the night to change temps and fans, though might wake a partner. The AC however is a fair bit louder, even, on fan mode, than our 4 prior Frigidaire window units.

I have a shed that I insulated and cut a hole in the wall to put this AC. The shed is 160 sq ft and this AC cools it well. The only problem I have is the thermostat gets blowback and reads about 5-10F lower than the actual room temp so for 75F you need to set it on 65F. But other than that the unit works great. Cools on Eco mode as well albeit not as quickly as Cool mode.
