I've had the range for almost 2 months and love it. The extra wide oven fits 2 roasting pans side by side. Range top is easy to clean. Maybe I'd rearrange the top elements but that is not a complaint. I haven't used all the options yet but it is nice to have them and the convection bake and roast work well. I'm really happy with my purchase.

I have been watching the prices on this electric range for at least two years and almost pulled the trigger to buy one multiple times. But the sales prices usually only applied to the stainless steel and I wanted the white model. Then, very recently, out of the blue, all the models were marked down to almost half price! So I jumped on it! My wife and I love this range. It came just in time for Thanksgiving. We've only utilized a few features thus far but I can't wait to try all the features. The burner heat elements provide very even heat across the bottom of the pans. Very happy thus far.

It's all a disappointment

This is my 2nd KitchenAid electric range w/glass top. I bought my first one in the early 1990s. There is no comparison. The old range beats the new hands down. The old stove was sturdier and had a far better bottom drawer. The new drawer holds maybe 1/3 as compared to the old. The edge on the drawer is sharp and is a hazard. While I like the size of the new over, it is a dangerous piece of work with the outside of the oven getting hot enough to burn some unsuspecting person. I have already been burned. I am very wary of having any youngsters anywhere near the range with the oven on. I think there should be a safety recall on that. The top of the range gets soiled easily and does not clean up as easily or as well as the old. I'm very disappointed with that and tired of the effort to clean it, and I am not a messy cook. The layout of the range top is strange to say the least. It's difficult to see where the burners are. I have not used the oven cleaning and I'm hoping for no surprises there. I haven't tried the warming burner which looks too small to be useful. The oven timer beeps once. The old rang until I responded. If I don't hear this one, goodbye dinner or desert! I don't understand the logic in "dumbing down" an appliance and calling it improved. I can only assume there are a lot of unhappy appliance buyers out there.

I bought this two years ago and I wouldn't recommend it. The oven does not reach the temperature that I set. I had the service guy here and he calibrated it but it is still not correct. Also I don't think the aqua lift cleaning system in this range is worth using. I bought this because I had a KitchenAid for 23 years before this purchase. I loved everything about it - the glass top was easier to keep clean, the oven baked perfectly, and the cleaning system worked well. There were no parts available to fix it so I was forced to buy a new range. There is not one thing that I like as much about this range as my old one. If I went out today to buy a range, it would NOT be a KitchenAid.

I've called 2 times to register my range, and they only want to sell me an extended warranty, which I don't want. I've tried to order the operating manual and warranty information online, but it won't acknowledge my model number or serial number, so I'm assuming I'm still not registered. My range was delivered in early July, I still don't have the information I want, and this is beyond frustrating.

Kitchen Aid not measuring up to basic baking needs

Poor baking as oven does not hold temperature so baked goods are not cooked well at all. I took the temperature at the front of stove when I was trying to bake(which requires babysitting the temp) Reading was 138degrees w/o top burners on. Seems to be NOT enough insulation around oven.

I've had my stove almost 2 months and I'm very happy with it's performance. However, it was frustrating to have to go tothe Kitchenaide website to find operating instructions for the stove. No information was provided with the stove on the use if the cleaning cycle and the special convection functions on the appliance. I had to print the pages from the website to avoid waiting for a manual to be mailed. Very disappointing. In addition, it cost 50% more to get the appliance in white. Why?

I have had this range and oven for a month now. It was a difficult start due to the lack of a complete owner's manual. The oven feature does not work well. The temperature fluctuates 50 degrees plus or minus of the set temperature. Using the convection feature will give the desired results.

AquaLift is difficult to use and almost useless. You have to almost crawl into the oven to clean it! Oven controls are confusing and the user/owner manual isn't much help. Convection doesn't make cooking faster. Glass cooktop develops blemishes UNDER the glass that cannot be removed. Alarm sound has no option for continued alerting. One a minute is not sufficient. A very sad example of a premium product.

No instructions. The manual is a joke. 1. When I first preheated the oven there were toxic fumes. Why weren't there warnings? 2. The timer doesn't give me the option to increment the time. Are we back in the stone age?!? 3. Why did Kitchenaid think it was ok not to send a guide on using a convection oven, and wha NOT to bake on convection, like cakes? Kitchenaid's response will be the usual "so sorry, please contact customer care privately " Does anything ever get addressed? Where is the Voice of the Customer regarding this product? I am sure Kitchenaid could do better and at least publish a user guide. Very disappointed. Kitchenaid used to be a premium brand, now it's quality is in the same class as entry level brands

I love the white appliance with metal Handle option. It™€™s a nice modern design for those of us that don™€™t want stainless steel appliances. So disappointed that the matching fridge was not available (for at least a year) but now I see that it finally is available again. I do have the matching microwave. The oven and stove top work great . I only use ceramic coated cookware so that it doesn™€™t scratch the cook top.

The product is good, but I was annoyed that it came with switches on two of the burners reversed. Apparently the switches behind the dials for the left rear and right front burners were reversed. When you put each burner on high the burner was on low and when you put each burner on low it was on high. A serviceman was able to correct the problem.

Smelly beginning! Need a booklet on how to use!

I have only used the BAKE part of the oven. I have never used the convection part as I have NO book or any information how to use it. When I turned it on the delivery guys warned me it would smell really bad and it sure did! I had windows open in February and was hoping our smoke alarms would not go off! I don't know why it took so long for the smell to go away. I hope the convection part of the oven doesn't do that too! It s a beautiful oven and I like the glass top range but why did they not give us information on how to use it!

Dim display!

We purchased the KitchenAid KFEG500EWH range in October 2023 because we liked the looks of the range. But when we plugged the range the in and saw the display it so dim if you are not standing directly in front of the range it is very difficult to read. We contacted customer service and they sent a service tech out to replace the display. The new display isn't any better than the original. Our old GE range and our GE microwave both have bright displays you can see from any place in the room. Why did KitchenAid put such a dim display on this range. Also, when you turn on one of the burners it buzzes when you first turn it on. I would not recommend this range.

I like most of the features, the stovetop heats up quickly & evenly. I have used the oven several times and have had no issues, it seems to cook evenly and as well as my older oven. The oven fan is very quiet compared to my last convection oven. The control panel has to be pressed a little hard for me but the knobs are great. My main gripe it that the timer is pretty useless. The beep is so quiet it may as well not exist. I have had to revert to using an external timer, there is a volume control which I have at its loudest setting. I am excited to try the cleaning cycle, but haven™€™t yet so cannot comment on that feature.

The temp in this oven has never been correct. The top scratches very easily compared to my OLD GE. Control board broken after the warranty period and one of the burners doesn't work.

I am happy with this for the most part except I wish the racks were a little heavier. I use a lot of cast iron and heavy pans and the racks sag when I use them. I also had a pot boil over and it left pits in the glass top that I can't get rid of.

Beautiful appliance, however the top right side was scratched; the white was scratched off, and the bottom left side of the oven door had a piece (strip) hanging down. Aslo, the door does not close tightly. After convincing Customer Service of the flaws, they've agreed to order me a new door. BUT this was after I refused an offer from them of $150 to call it even. Not what I would expect from KitchenAid.

Since day one the oven has had problems staying up to temperature. Now never gets past 275 F degrees. And yes I do have the setting on my oven set to Fahrenheit not Celsius. In the beginning I set the temp higher and cooked longer. Now I can't use it at all ,doesn't come up to temp and won't even keep that it will drop off.

I love it. i love everything about the oven, I can bake 6 loaves of bread at a time. i never use convection cycle for baking bread. It does take a while to preheat but that was no surprise oven is so big. The eyes are not ideal for me but I'm adjusting would love more numbers. They seem slow to heat up. LIke I said the bread proof cycle is spot on.

I bought the stove in Lowe's, to be delivered in 5 months ,the next day ,they was by my door with a stove, after months I couldn't get my baking done right. The technician came twice, I am still not able to bake. SAD, SAD, BAD LEMON .

I purchased my stove/range a month ago and it is money well spent! If you cook often or bake alot, this is the stove/range for you. If you are just starting to cook and bake, this is the stove/range you will love to learn on. It does everything you will need or want. I was adamanat in what features I was looking for and I was not willing to settle for less. And my goodness, it delivers! The bonus is it's looks/style and it is awesome. Pictures do not do it justice. This is a beautiful appliance. If someone comes into my kicthen, it stops them in their conversation as they admire it. They all say they love the way it looks, the large see through oven door and ask if it also comes as a gas stove/range. I answer yes it does. So if you are looking, I strongly recommend you give this stove/range a good look over for what you require and want.
