A bit difficult to install because of the downdraft mechanism. Broil takes a long time to come up to temp. We ordered a trim kit designed for this specific range but it did not fit and was returned. The return was delivered 7 weeks ago but have not received a refund. Have had two "chat" discussions with Kitchenaid about this but still waiting.

Not what I expected from KitchenAid brand

I had a KitchenAid and wish I had not bought another - my family talked me into buying this one. The same as with my older one - You can set the temp for the oven but it doesn't hold. Set it at 375 and come back in 30 minutes and it is down between 310 and 325. The only way to bake is to continually check the temp - turn it off - reset it, which does not make for great baking. It takes a long time to bake recipes of cookies - reset for every pan. I tried to set it to come on at a certain time when I would be gone and wanted dinner started. The clock allowed me to set the start time but when I would try to set the finish time it changed it. I set it to come on at 9:00 a.m. and cook for 3 hours. Repeatedly, it would switch the time to come on at 11:00 p.m. Then if I want to put something in to cook - not setting time - just cooking -The temp always drops way below what I set it for. So aggravating to have to stand right in the kitchen and keep adjusting the temp.

I™€™ve had the stove for about a month now, & I think it is very handy with its front 2 electric burners , because they have single & double settings. I think the stove is very pretty, but very hard to keep clean. The black top shows every mark& is a lot of work if you are into sparkling clean stove tops. The stove has the warmer , which is very cool. The oven works beautifully, too. I have black luxury floor planking, you would have thought I would have learned my lesson, how hard black is to keep clean. I™€™m just a sucker for the elegant look.

The first one, had a defective oven door that left shattered glass all over the kitchen floor and a trail out the door on the way back. The second one had a control panel that separated from the range base, so it went back. The third one was leveled and set in place without difficulty. I got out the chicken and potatoes to bake for dinner. During the 375 degrees heat up, smoke started to come out of the vent. I knew there would be some burn off of the elements being that they are new, so I waited for the smoke to stop. What seemed like minutes later or about 175 degrees, I opened the oven door and smoke billowed out, so I shut the oven door, turned the oven off, and called the manufacturer. After 40 minutes and three transfers I reached the safety department. I was told this was normal and to open my windows in 90+degree heat and let the oven heat up to 300 degrees for one hour. My home smelled like smoke so much that my wife smelled it in the garage when she got home from work. The third defect went back also. We are the proud owners of a GE appliance now.

I have no manual. I can™€™t find one online so I have no clue how to use any of the features with this stove. I™€™m extremely frustrated. I don™€™t know what pans to use. Can I use cast iron? How does the bread proof mode work? Or pizza? I don™€™t know how to use any of it. It™€™s an expensive piece of shiny furniture in our kitchen.

Last year I bought a refrigerator and range. I expected the best but have some issues. The range oven is impossible to get clean. Neither convection options work- baked goods are never done and I wind up having to convert to the regular method. Convection was one of the main reasons I bought the range, not what I wanted at all. I also bought a refrigerator and the freezer has had issues. It frosted up and I had to do a complete clean out and defrost. Also at that time the light went out. It went back on after defrost and clean but went out again shortly after and remains out to this day. Like I said, I trusted this brand to be better, not at all what I found or am dealing with.

Bought this because it™€™s made by whirlpool. This oven has a good pleasing appearance, and is easy to use. The only thing I don™€™t like is the under warming tray doesn™€™t slide all the way out. I like to remove this tray and clean inside that area. The stove top not being smooth is harder to keep clean than smooth types.

This is my second range. The first had a glass cooktop that would not come clean after 3 weeks. Lowe™€™s sent a replacement and if the new one has the same issues I will be done with the Kitchenaid model and go to a different brand. Please note I followed the instructions for cleaning the cooktop. I have heard that this is a defect with this particular model. I am hopeful this one will be better.

I have been using this range for about a month. The oven takes a fairly long time to get to temperature, but I do appreciate knowing the temperature as it rises toward what I need for the recipe. The labels on the stove top controls are in very small type. This could be fixed by back lighting the panel. The cook top surface marks very easily, and the marks are not easy to remove. I do like the two size choices on the front burners.

The ovens performs well in general. The stove controls are somewhat confusing but the burners heat well and cook evenly. The oven is a disappointment.as it is extremely slow to come to temperature compared to previous electric stoves I have owned. It take upwards 15 minutes for the oven to reach 425 almost doubling the time of any previous electric over I have owned. That said, the stove cooks evenly in standard or convection modes and is accurate compared to 3rd temp probes I have tested with it.

Purchased one month ago, only gave 4 stars for two reasons, neither of which are a deal buster. When first using the oven, excessive amount of smoke filled my house from burn-off, setting off smoke alarms even with exhaust fan and three ceiling fans operating. This eventually subsided, but was quite irritating. Second place goes to the white dots on glass top indicating where the heating elements are located. I thought we would get used to these after a short period, but after a month we still attempt to clean them off at initial wiping, then laughing at ourselves for forgetting they're a part of the stove, not food. Not sure we'll ever get used to them. Overall, we've been happy with the stove.

Stove looks great, love the big eyes on it, definitely a fan of the three over racks. Overall I am very happy with the stove. I only have two dislikes, one is the timer... Drives me insane, it only beeps one time when finished and then once again every minute. Not good when your in the groove and it goes off without hearing it. My other dislike, which isn't too bad is it does take quite a long time to preheat. Even with that being said, it makes up in it's other features.

I recently shopped around for weeks for a new stove and kept coming back to the KitchenAid. My only hesitation was that the oven door felt a bit flimsy. After much deliberation I went ahead and purchased the KitchenAid and I love the big oven (3 shelves!!!), the extra large glass window and how quickly and evenly it cooks! I hope it lasts for a very long time because appliance shopping these days is painful!!!

Don't purchase!!

Would never purchase this again or recommend! I used the oven one time and it would not turn off. I had to cut power off at my breaker panel. Thank God it didn't burn my house down.
