Purchased this for my mom in Fall 2026 because it had all the features she was looking for. Will be having the 3rd repair done next week. Ventilation was installed wrong, oven would overheat the unit and I would need to pull it out and unplug to turn it off. Now the oven door is locking and you can not get it to open. Unhappy with the quality of this product. Maytag has always been our go to brand. Extremely disappointed.

Nice Look & Features--BUT Can't Bake Pizza!

Although we like the look and features of our new range, we are having problems cooking pizza in it. The issue: when we bake it at the manufacturer's recommended temperature for the recommended time (often 2 minutes longer), the top is cooked well, but the bottom is not. It is browned but not hot or crispy. We've tried baking it with the rack on level 4 (which is closer to the heating element at the top), but it hasn't made a difference. The baking directions call for placing the pizza directly on the rack, however, we prefer to avoid the mess and bake it instead on a pizza stone--and our old oven (a 20-year-old Kenmore) cooked the pizza perfectly without putting it directly on the rack. I called your Customer Care line twice to try to speak with a representative but was on hold for so long that I gave up. HELP!!!

I have had this range for about a month and it works fine. The burners seem to heat accurately (my previous range ran hot) I am a confirmed glass top cook because of the ease of cleaning. There are features that I probably would never use like the air fry setting, the wi-fi (what is this really for) and the automatic oven light. I see the no edge top as problematic since something is bound to spill. I do like the proof setting since I am a bread baker. Keep warm on the range top and in the oven are convenient. The front knobs are nice, something I never had before; since I have no children in my home, it is not a safety issue. I didn't realize the oven was larger so the storage drawer is shallower. Overall I am pleased with the range.

Was rather difficult to learn how to operate. Timer bell isn't very loud. Still haven't learned how to operate air fryer. Directions aren't clear. Have had this oven installed since September and had to replace the oven bulb.

Stovetop cord not connected.

I bought this range on Oct 8, 2025 and had it delivered to my residence on Oct 13th. I plugged it up and the oven worked but the stove top did not work. I had a electrician come out to check the wall outlet for the range. He found that the outlet was wired incorrectly and fixed it. The stove top still did not work, I figured that my outlet may have damaged the stove so I had a appliance repairman come look at it. Because of the miss wired outlet I felt it was my responsibility to fix the range. The repairman found that the power cord to the stove top was not connected to the range main wire harness. He plugged it to the main harness and the stove top worked great. I paid the appliance repairman $99.00 to have him tell me that someone at the Whirlpool factory failed to connect the stove top cord to the main wire harness. I called the Whirlpool Service Center, explained the problem and asked to be reimbursed $99.00 because a Whirlpool employee was at fault. They explained to me that I could not be reimbursed because they did not send the repairman to look at the range. I feel that this excuse not to reimburse me is wrong and Whirlpool should take responsibility and reimburse me. I sent a letter, repair invoice and a picture to Whirlpool Corporation on October 16th about this issue. Have not heard from them yet. Otherwise the range looks great and works great.

Great looking range with great techonology options

I had my new range installed about a month ago. I like how the range is connected to my WiFi and how I can control the range with an app on my phone. That's a great option! When using my stovetop, I am surprised by how long it takes to boil a pot of water when compared to the Amana convection white cooktop range I owned for 21 years. When using the air-fry options, I have found that they do not airfry as well as my countertop air fryer. I like to convection bake, but I am uncertain if I need to reduce the heat and the temperature when air-baking. Is there a visual tutorial for using the convection and airbake options? Also, I am worried about scratching the black cooktop. Is there a certain type of pan that should be used on the cooktop to reduce the chance of scratches? My previous, 21-year-old Amana white cooktop didn't show scratches from pans. This makes me worried about keeping the black glasstop looking nice. One last question I have is why my range didn't come with a broiler pan. When I have purchased ranges in the past, they always came with a broiler pan.

This is a good stove but Whirlpool does quite a few really stupid things. They put about 7 stickers inside the oven that are useless and hard to remove. If you miss one or two of them because of their location they stink up the house as soon as you turn the oven on. Whirlpool, you should rethink this, its dumb.

Nice features - but?

I've had this range for 3 days now and while I like its looks I have noticed some problems. No reasonable user guide was included. I've had glass top ranges for over 25 years and the top on this one seems like it will be much harder to clean and will show wear in a very short time. I bought it only due to the "griddle zone" and that works well. Whirlpool needs to spend some time on a booklet that better describes the features on the control panel, they did include a mostly useless installation manual in a couple of languages that talk about leveling, etc. I think most people have their new ranged professionally installed and my installer didn't need the manual. I needed something that explained the control panel a little better and that didn't exist.

I don't know how to lower the broiling temperature from 550 degrees to 350 degrees, which I always did on my previous range. Also, it took a good ten minutes for the serviceman to set the clock time on the new range. Now it is daylight savings time, and I don't know how to change the time. There is NO clock button! And no User manual!

Lousy over featured under basic quality stove

This appliance was installed a week ago. The glass top has already cracked. The glass top is not indented so any spills go right over the sides. The burners are very slow to heat. Lights are not present for each burner to indicate which burner is on. The controls do not indicate the oven temperature when it is heating - a major inconvenience. The burner controls are cheap and hard to read. I do not recommend this stove and would never buy another.
