We hadn™™t had a new fridge for 18 years and wow, has quality changed for the worst. Whirlpool French door refrigerator, 30 inches wide because we have a small house and limited space. Delivery and install, including ice and water, went great. However, within days, some food in the refrigerator froze, despite being set at suggested temperatures, the water line froze, and we had no ice or water. I bought two thermometers, and the interior temperature of the various shelves, crispers, doors, etc varied all over the map. We lost food because it froze in the fridge, we lost food because it was too warm. We change the temperature controls daily to try and get consistent temps which doesn™™t happen. Thermostat? Just a piece of junk? It was $1800 which is a lot for us. First service call is today and I want their diagnosis and appropriate fix although I hear that may not happen.

Not happy with the product, less happy with Whirlpool the company. If you buy this refridgerator (or likely any other) from Whirlpool you *can NOT return it* if you do not like it (if it's plugged in, it's yours). The only exception may be if a repair person declares it broken. Our unit was noisy... above 50Db and my mother in law did not like the sound (slightly higher pitched, appears standard for this unit). So, brand new, we wanted to return it (received Friday night, reached out the following Monday to return it). No dice. They force you to see a technician to check if it's working "normally" (technician noted it was working but loud for us, that didn't help). Whirlpool will not accept a return for a poor product. They offer a little discount, but this thing is like $1.8k, if it doesn't work well I want to return it. Whirlpool doesn't back up their own products. I noted this with the BBB as well.

Nothing but problems with the water system. Constant drip, had it replaced and now it won't stop pouring out the spout. Caused water damage into my basement. NOT HAPPY!!

Overall generally looks good. but looking closely not so much.
The door panels are a little wavy and the trim pieces on the top of the doors are crooked.
Adjusting the door instructions, should've been clearer that there are screws holding the hinge covers on.
The water in the door valve is noisy and it always leaves water in the tray there (I think it leaks a little).
Door handles were scratched on delivery.
Protective film was difficult to remove completely.

Received are new refrigerator on Thursday 1/22/26, 2 weeks late from the original date, that NOT one CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON could tell me that it was going to be late after making several calls. And NOW the water line leaks, and we have to wait for Whirlpool to approve the replacement part and get it ordered!!!!

We are thrilled with our new refrigerator. This was a special order because we wanted it in white to match our new kitchen. We almost gave up, having had so much trouble finding it until, finally, we were able to purchase this unit through Best Buy. We previously had the exact same unit in Black in our former home so we are very familiar with this refrigerator. Almost everything is right about it. We appreciate the external water dispenser and automatic ice maker. There is ample space for everything we want to store and the bottom drawer freezer seems to hold more than a typical top freezer. My only concern is that the refrigerator doors don't always close fully without an extra push. This is because the French doors have an interlocking system which needs to click in place for the doors to be completely closed. Otherwise, we couldn't be happier! :-)

I bought the refrigerator in July and FINALLY received it in December. Installation went well then the water dispenser and the ice machine quit working. I had a terrible time finding someone at Whirlpool who could help me. I won™™t even go into that scenario. Finally after days and hours of being on hold I got a woman who took charge and got a repair man to come out. I like my refrigerator but overall the stress was not acceptable. E

This refrigerator is perfect for us. Lots of great storage and adjustments as well. And the freezer on the bottom is new to us but I™™m really liking it so far. They did not include an ice pick which I think they should have to keep people from putting their hands all over the ice when getting some. We™™re using a large spoon until we get the one I ordered from Amazon for $7.00. But still and I™™ve seen other refrigerators that come with them. And, there is a lot of room in the doors themselves.

My 30-inch Wide French Door Refrigerator - 20 cu. ft. is GREAT for my kitchen. I love that the ice maker is inside the freezer and does not dispense ice through the door of the refrigerator. I also love the light on the refrigerator door when dispensing water, the water filter and air filter. The refrigerator looks wonderful in my kitchen. The only thing is Whirlpool was the only company that made a refrigerator with all the nice features that I like the color white and the height of 67 inches. Kudos to Whirlpool! I hope that in the future you will make more 67 inch refrigerators and added features and more doors.

Lasted less than 2 years and the fridge itself seems very cheaply made. You also have to constantly buy air filters and expensive water filters so keep that in mind when purchasing.

I ordered this fridge on July 5th and finally received it on August 26th. It was plugged in on August 27th and the icemaker and water dispenser stopped working on September 7th. Not even 10 days after initially starting the fridge.
After repeated trials in trying to contact Whirlpool, I finally got to speak with someone who told me the repair person would be in to check fridge on Sunday September 14th between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. To my surprise, no one showed up so I called back Whirlpool the next day and they couldn't get a hold of the repair guy so they gave me that person's phone number and email so I could get a hold of him. Not sure where Whirlpool gets their information but the repair guy doesn't work on Sundays and he mentioned to me that Whirlpool always schedule people on that day and he has told them many times.
I finally got a hold of the repair guy on Monday September 15th and he came to see my fridge at 10:30 am that morning. He found the issue and ordered my new part. He came back on Monday October 6th to repair the fridge. Now, everything seems fine but I can't stop thinking of all that food that I WASTED and MONEY as it was all freezing in my fridge. This is Thanksgiving weekend and I am expecting company and I sure hope that my fridge is properly fixed and that I don't waste hundred of dollars in food again as I will not be happy with Whirlpool.

We purchased our refrigerator about a month ago. We are seniors and wanted the freezer on the bottom and the upper french doors for ease of use. I like these features!
What I am disappointed in are two things; 1) the crisper drawer on the right side does not close all the way due to weight of milk jug and water pitcher on the shelf above itcausing an imbalance on the somewhat flimsy shelf.It very annoying that the drawer will not close due to this poor design.
.2) The other thing I do not like is the water dispenser on the door. It only gets as cold as our tap water. I don't like ice in my water, so what's the point of getting cool tap water through my fridge? It's a big waste!

The refrigerator is great for keeping the correct temps and the ice maker works well.
The way it is built is really poor. The first day after we received it we noticed the right door was crooked. Supposedly there is a set screw to adjust. We could not find it, the repair man from the place we purchased it from came out and said the screw isn't even there, and it is supposed to be, so it remains crooked, although it is usable.
The left hand door you cannot close unless the right hand door is opened as well. We though that was the way it was supposed to be. But again the repair the repair man said no, it is not, so he is coming out tomorrow to see what he can do so both doors operate they are supposed to.
If you can live with the fact the it was not manufactured correctly, it works fine for what it does, but for over $2,000 we expected better.
This was delivered to us in the original box as it was special ordered by for us for the color, so it was direct from manufacturer this way.

Bought about a month ago. So far, perfect. Had to go with this particular size to fit under my kitchen cabinets. I do hope Whirlpool makes a wider version of this height fridge. Led lights inside work great, freezer and fridge cool to temps exactly what they're supposed to. Ice maker inside freezer is different than im used to, but works well. Water on outside front door is convenient. Wish shelves adjusted more,and made a bit more sturdy,but they open and close easily. Front doors adjust easy if you need to tweek them. Not a bad 3 door fridge/ freezer so far.

4 wks old now. Had to fit this size fridge under non-standard height cabinets. Great smaller 3 door fridge. Water on front, ice inside freezer within a tray. Not a ton of room in a 20cu.ft.fridge. Freezer is 2 shelves, and works pretty well.but no extra room for random stuff. The 2 door refrigerator top is plenty for 2 or 3 people in household. Both top and bottom insides are lit up very well. Digital panel on front is nice to look at, and shows basic information. I knew purchasing this small of a fridge had its limitations. Overall it looks very nice, compressor is fairly quiet, and except for the water and ice solenoid valve being noisy, it maintains freezer and fridge temperature very well. It rolls quite easily also. Water tie-in is 1/4™ compression and no 1/4™hardware provided, just one water filter cartridge housed inside fridge. It™™s a great little fridge so far, just wish Whirlpool made this a bit wider for more interior volume. I looked at a French door style, i believe this is a better option if you need this size refrigerator governed by lower cabinets. Would get 5 stars if water solenoid was silent in operation.

I bought this refrigerator freezer about a month ago I do like it I think I was expecting more space in the freezer part but it is OK and I also would have like the top part for the refrigerator is for the the shelves to be able to go back some of the stuff holes in the back or down to the bottom and I have the refrigerator part and I don™™t like that but otherwise I like it well very good looking appliance I probably don™™t know if I have an icemaker or just a water as I cannot get it to work I am quite elderly and sometimes I need people to show me things rather than to read directions as directions to me do not correspond with each other otherwise it is a great looking freezer and I do like it

I bought this model because it was 30 inches wide and white, so I waited 6 weeks for it. I am disappointed in the quality of the shelves and drawers, it feels like an apartment refrigerator to me. The ice maker does work, but it doesn™™t produce much ice. Disappointing because I was excited for a new refrigerator.

We have had This refrigerator for about 3 weeks now, we like the lay out of the refrigerator, with a large freezer on the bottom and refrigerator on top. It's not ad large ad the 1 we had before, but we're getting used to it. We also like all the drawers inside of it. Some are large and a couple of them are smaller. Wr can store food on both doors. The delivery guys was supposed to hook up the ice maker for us , and we were told they would, but when they delivered it, they told us that they would not hook it up referring to the ice maker. Because wr have copper tubing, wr ask when we purchased it the supervisor at Lowes said that they would hook it up, but the delivery guts said that tgey don't hook up copper, because if it starts to leak then they would have to have it fixed, so I had to hire a plumber. Also the refrigerator had started making a noise, in which I'm not sure if it's supposed to or not, but I've been so busy with everything here i haven't had time to call and check on it. It's had a 5 year warranty. So ad of right now I'm watching it very closely. One other thing the water in the door does not get cold, it stays at room temperature. Wr have looked at the information book to see what needs to be done about that, but the book is very vague on just about everything concerning the refrigerator and how it works.

We bought this about 1 week ago. So far we LOVE it!. It™™s easy to adjust the shelves. Makes good ice, the cubes don™™t stick together. The water dispenser has been a nice addition, our last unit didn™™t have that feature, but we really like it.

I purchased my refrigerator on March 3, 2025 and very impressed with this product. The compartments are fantastic and keep everything fresh. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator and the freezer. The water and ice such a great feature and perfect for a small or large gathering. I like the features for controlling the temperature and reminders for the air filter and water filter. I am very satisfied with the Whirlpool refrigerator. Thank you.

I am grateful that I could find a French door refrigerator under 68". The cool fast feature is a definite plus. It would have been nice if they designed the refrigerator to have two half shelves other than one 1/2 shelf shelf designated for taller items. The refrigerator is quiet and the temperature of the shelves are within recommendations. White color to me is a must have.
