Had this washer for about two years The first week we had problems with it I think control board went out. They tried putting other parts on it think it took about month a half to get it working. part of the problem was there was no control boards available for it I think this is a problem that they should of had a recall on Well here we are again pretty sure it the control board again. Should I buy another washer from whirlpool or get something different If I buy another whirlpool you think I would at least get some kind of credit of you guy ( not even two years old

Disappointing in how often these break

Paid around $600 for the washer in 2023 bought 3 years warranty as well. The main control board (ACU) went out after just one year, two years later a handful of days after warranty expired same problem (ACU) went out. Buyer beware whirlpool was no help with the situation which is disappointing because this is a manufacturer issue not normal wear and tear. Buy a better brand.

Really disappointed in the 4.5 Cu. Ft. Top Load Agitator Washer with Built-In Faucet Model: WTW5015LW Since 1995 I have owned 12 Whirlpool appliances. I would stand by all Whirlpool appliances and not purchase any other brand. Not any more. 7/4/2024 Purchased 4.5 Cu. Ft. Top Load Agitator Washer with Built-In Faucet Model: WTW5015LW Barely used and the Control board is already broken. I refrigerator was broken and I gave Whirlpool second chance not ever again. I spent my money and got ripped off. How after 2 years can a Control board breaks? I will not recommend Whirlpool, their product is inferior.

I have had this washer for less than two years and it has completely stopped working - it's stuck on the sense mode like many others have mentioned as a common issue. No troubleshooting steps have helped, and Whirlpool's only options are that I can purchase a brand new washer with 20% off (are you out of your minds? honestly an unhinged thing to offer on such a new appliance) or pay $350 to repair it. I will never purchase another appliance from Whirlpool if they are not going to stand behind their products. Additionally, promoting throwaway culture is offensive and a truly abhorrent thing for the manufacturer of large appliances (which I would expect to last way longer than 2 years) to do.

It was a great price. The washer is very noisy. I had to quit using liquid fabric softener in it because it would Leave spots on the clothing. After two short years, it quit working. I have an appliance repair man coming to look at it and will update this if available.

Not Happy with This Whirlpool Washer

I am not satisfied with this Whirlpool washer. The drain and spin functions do not work properly. When the cycle finishes, the clothes are still soaked with a lot of water. I have to run the drain and spin cycle one or even two additional times just to get the clothes properly wrung out so they can go into the dryer. Overall, this has been very inconvenient and disappointing.

I bought this washer 22 months ago, and suddenly last night it just stopped mid-cycle. We liked it until we didn't. I've attempted to reset according to the directions from the Whirlpool website, so far still not working. The last washing machine we had for over 15yrs, I'll make a call and go back to Costco to see what can be done.

I bought this last month when my old washer quit working. This one is so much better. It is bigger and able wash a better load at a time. It is quiet. Uses less water than traditonal machines. So many different settings for your laundry, only thing is no setting for small med or large load but I assume it detects that on its own. Cold/Hot water wash. Easy hook up and get to using it.

So far so good. I have only had this washer 2 weeks, however. I would like to offer Whirlpool some advice on the process. My delivery was delayed and I did receive an email from Whirlpool, however the third party they use for storage and pick up never notified me that the product came in and was ready for pick up. It was very difficult to get a hold of JB Hunt for this pick up in Omaha.

This washing machine was designed by someone who never does laundry. The instruction manual is of no help. When the load gets unbalanced I couldn't find out how to fix it, because the lid was locked. So I turned it off, but I didn't know where in the cycle it stopped because the lights only say sensing, wash and done. I tried to do the drain and spin cycle but it started filling up with water and seemed to run a new cycle.

Our dark laundry comes out dirtier looking than when it went in. My husband™€™s slacks look like a dog has slobbered all over them when they come out of the washer. I™€™ve tried extra rinses, no detergent, clear & unscented detergent, pods, it doesn™€™t matter, there™€™s always a rinse residue. This washer recently replaced a beloved Whirlpool front loader that gave up after 14 wonderful years. I™€™m not at all happy with this product. Oh and it™€™s VERY NOISY! Very loud! This washer has left me disappointed in a brand I thought I trusted and loved.

Unreliable, broke down in just over a year

I had this machine for about 15 months and started to get clicking noises during agitation cycle. After resetting the machine and recalibrating multiple times, I kept getting the same error code that points me to an issue with the control panel. I have no idea what would cause a control panel issue on a machine that's less than a year and a half old, with extremely typical if not light use. Then I spend 2 hours on the phone with customer service who passed me around to several representatives who all just reminded me that my 12 month warranty was expired and that I would have to pay for a repair. I'm not spending hundreds of dollars to repair a machine that couldn't make it through a year and a half. Without a doubt, this is the last whirlpool device I'll purchase, it's not worth the risk of having electrical components go bad so quickly and then to receive poor customer service after it all.
